The TSImed Medical Transcription Service is fully HIPAA compliant. All transmission and storage of data on our servers use 256 bit SSL technology for encryption. Documents are stored in individual folders, access to which is secured and password protected. Encryption and verification is provided by VeriSign. Workflow processes within The Transcription and The Quality Centers have been designed to protect individually identifiable patient information in conformity with HIPAA requirements. HIPAA regulations suggest that the physician have a contract with the business associate (Transcription Service Provider). We would be happy to sign your HIPAA contract. We are happy to provide you with our agreement, as well.
